Doha is the capital city of Qatar, and the country's largest city and economic centre. It is the nation's fastest growing city, with over 80% of Qatar's population living in the Doha Metropolitan Area with a population of over 2 million. In recent years, the city has made great strides in diversifying the their economy to arts and culture, services and tourism in an effort to be less reliant on the oil and natural gas industry.
